Use MERV 13 filters if possible

OSHA requires that you upgrade to MERV 13 if possible, but not all HVAC systems can. If you know your system cannot handle MERV 13, we recommend using at least MERV 8.

Confirm Filter Change Frequency

This calculator assumes all filters will be changed quarterly, but be sure to check with the equipment manufacturer or an HVAC technician to determine the correct change cadence for you.
