First and foremost, check, clean and or replace all HVAC air filters. Flush HVAC drain lines and incorporate anti-algaecide pan tablets in the primary drain pan of the systems and where capable, disconnect power or turn off power to outdoor condensing units and or rooftop units and water wash the coils thoroughly.
Those are the top three things you can do to prepare for summer when it comes to HVAC comfort systems. And of course, if the maintenance director does not have those capabilities or the time allowed to do so, they can certainly reach out to TELS Building Services at 888-433-3224 and we’re happy to help with those items.
