Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced that certified nursing facilities may request the use of Civil Money Penalty (CMP) Reinvestment funds to purchase portable fans and portable room air cleaners with HEPA filters to increase or improve indoor air quality (IAQ).
